CSSSA

My home for 3 summers...

I have met more people who are absolutely remarkable during these past three summers than I have anywhere else in my life. When I ultimately break down my dearest acquaintances, at least half of them are CSSSA alumni...
It's been said many times that the nicest thing, from day one, is that people smile back.
The friendships established during those 4 weeks are mostly unparalleled in high school.

"It kills me the way people will be forgotten. This place where egos dance around each other, fragile, tugged about by ulterior motives... We'll forget the frenzy, the boredom, the small triumphs..It'll fade into some over simplified gestalt - easy wrapping paper for the summer. Oh, the people I will have never talked to! May I someday talk to them, if only for a few minutes... And the people I have adored, may I always somehow keep them, may they never wander too far away for a hug..."
