So, a bit of an update -- since the home computer crashed, operations have moved to the new library up the street from me. The new library is truly a wonder to behold -- complete with a cone-like skylight that illuminates the place... however, the people who populate this brand new building are a little terrifying. The library opened last Monday.. Mayor Richard Riordan and councilman Joel Wachs came to cut the red ribbon (which I stole) and make some of the worst extemporaneous speeches it has ever been my misfortune to hear, which leads me to wonder if there is anything they actually can do.

However, the live jazz band and free punch and animal crackers kept me amply excited about the whole extravaganza. Later Monday night, I came back to check on the ol' electronic mailbox when lo and behold, the only free computer was next to a man who was, well... masturbating. I kid you not -- I have witnesses. So, it may be difficult to maintain the page -- God knows, I abandoned working on it in September anyway....however, as long as this branch serves as a hot-spot for exhibitionist self-copulators... Web-page construction may be slow. Nevertheless, please stop back often and continue to leave all kinds of the charming little comments that light my life -- except Rita, please stop leaving sexually suggestive messages in the guestbook, it's a real pain to get around to deleting them and they're embarrassing.


I'm hoping to get to the page on a weekly basis, leave a few tidbits for those of you who are keeping track of things... and, otherwise... Thanks for...um... indulging me so.
